We Have Arrived!

The group of 21 of us have arrived at Alderson Broaddus College where we will be staying for the week. Throughout the week our group will be split up and we'll be accomplishing various tasks. Some of us will be doing work on buildings. This work includes installing sidewalks, working on roofs, painting, and reskirting panels on a mobile building. The other group will be providing a VBS program throughout the week. All of these projects will be benefiting Fountain of Life Ministries.

We have a good mixture of students, both high school and college. And we we have a good number of adults, both staff as volunteers from our church. It's going to be an exciting week. Unlike Haiti, I'll actually be able to post pictures frequently so you a can see the work being done this week. Tonight we will be debriefed on the work that lies ahead for us and then we'll be heading to bed at some point until our 6:45am wake up call.
